MASPware GuardMobile is a security- and controlsystem for Axim X30 Basic devices. Its a silent, hidden program, which (e.g. after a thievery) executes commands remotely initiated by the Axim X30 Basic owner.

Here an application example:

Imaging, your cellular Axim X30 Basic has been stolen. What can you do now?

• You can initiate an alarm and lock the Axim X30 Basic
• You can locate your Axim X30 Basic (GPS receiver is required)
• If your stolen Axim X30 Basic contains top secret data, you can do a hardreset remotely to erase all data! (Use carfully!)
• You can initiate a callback to overhear the thief

How does GuardMobile work?

The Axim X30 Basic owner installs and configures GuardMobile. He sets an arbitrary Axim X30 Basic PIN and adds cellular numbers, which can control this Axim X30 Basic, to totally prevent abuse. After activation, the program stays "silently" in background until its asked to do some action.

Since every Axim X30 Basic supports SMS nowadays, the whole communication is done via SMS, which means you can control your Axim X30 Basic using any other cellular Axim X30 Basic (no Axim X30 Basic required!). No internet access is necessary. The Axim X30 Basic replies all actions with a confirmation SMS.
